Men and Angels - James Christensen

Men and angels,
James C. Christensen
"In tenebras spero lucem"

The shadows and light, men and angels. Christensen old style is the contrast between the divine and human; an angel is an unattainable ideal, neither male nor female, extremely close to God, or else the idea of \u200b\u200ba superior being. Inevitably after this comparison lies a vital thought: mortality in the world and the eternity of heaven. In this image angel's presence moves us humans to darkness, staring, almost empty and as bright to be absorbed. While we are in darkness is inevitable wait for the light.
