Dr. Joan Pericàs, who was chief of medical services in Mallorca for five years, writes today in letters to the editor section of the Diario de Mallorca and the reasons that led him to resign. According to him, was due to interference in their work Gregorio Manzano. Here

"In January 2008 I left Mallorca Real Club Deportiu voluntarily resigning from my responsibility as head of the medical institution. thank the club and I met three presidents, the treatment received and respect to my professional independence within the structure of the club. Precisely this was the reason for my neglect, Mr. Manzano interference in organizing the club, seconded by Mr. Pons and the rest of the environment coach. Duke over twenty five years of professional sport and every time I've seen a manager or a technical drawing from a privileged position to his home are great, el club ha patit una crisi o fins i tot ha desaparegut. No vaig xerrar dels meus motius en aquell moment, i no pensava fer-ho mai, però que acusin ara el senyor Alemany de no haver mirat pel Reial Mallorca és la gota que vessa el tassó. Tots vetllam pels nostros interessos, i quasi tots arriscam per algú o per alguna cosa, per exemple un club, i n´hi ha que mai arrisquen res. El senyor Alemany pertany als primers i el senyor Manzano als segons".
